Nuru Palace was birthed from our passion and desire to serve people and see them relax in a peaceful haven - a home away from home.
To us it is a little things that count. A bottle of water and bible in your room - not hidden away, but on the table where they can be easily found. A pair of rubber slippers for each person. Some flowers and a space in each and every room to comfortably relax after a busy day.
We wanted our guests to enjoy a Christian 'safe haven' that is a serene, relaxed, secure, friendly, alcohol free and a drug free environment. Over the years many local pastors and overseas missionaries and their families have found rest and relaxation here. We are constantly encouraged by hearing their testimonies and having an opportunity to fellowship with them.
From our own overseas experiences, we have tried hard to rise to the demands and expectations of our overseas clients. Our visitors get to enjoy a real life Kenyan hotel, while still enjoying international comfort standards. Nuru Palace is unique in this regard - and being situated next to the beautiful and internatioanlly renowned Lake Nakuru Reserve, is a beautiful and relaxing place to holiday with family.
It is located along Oginga Odinga Road in Nakuru town CBD. We boast of being located in a safe and affluent neighborhood as we are 100 meters from Nakuru Central Police Station, 200 meters from the main Avenue in town, 150 meters from a hospital, 100 meters from Nakuru Athletics club, 150 meters from churches and 200 meters from other hotels. Nakuru is among the fastest growing towns in Sub Saharan Africa. It has a strong tourist focus and boasts a number of well known must-see attractions in town and within a short driving distance from the town. We have a range of services especially for visitors to Nakuru - including arranging full Safari tours around the various local attractions and parks.
Our restaurant is the ideal meeting place, both residents and non-residents alike can enjoy meals in a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Served in our lavishly furnished dinning room, our kitchen experts prepare meals whether it is in continental, English or traditional breakfast, lunch or dinner on a buffet or alacarte menu.
Located at strategic positions in the hotel we have 5 different conference halls that can accommodate from as low as 10 people to 500 people depending on the setup. We organize conferences, seminars, trainings, private functions, weddings and cocktail parties. We also provide PA Systems, LCD Projectors, flip charts, WIFI Internet and other conference materials.
There is a choice of 38 quiet and tastefully furnished rooms ranging from Single, Double, Twin, Triple and Executive. All our rooms are fitted with cable TV, Telephone intercom, WIFI Internet, and are all self contained.
